The Image Poet

A poem is an image really; conceived and interpreted through the mind’s eye. A poem on a picture, painting, drawing, or other image is a wonderful medium for expression; one which sends a clear and beautiful message.

Image poetry is combined with pictures, paintings, drawings, or other images to focus and enhance the written word. It is my intent to impart the wonderment, joy, and sometimes the bitter sweetness of life in our time through this medium.

Image poetry is a style of simple expression that is meaningful and uplifting to the soul. On this site you will see examples of my original poetry with pictures, paintings, and drawings.

All of the poetry pieces on the site are my original work including the images except where noted.
